Do you break your glass?

Just like the title says, do you break your glass? Not on purpose of course, but has it happened to you?

The only think I have ever broken (knock on wood) was the slide that came with my first 13" glass on glass tube. I was cleaning it, put it on the counter sideways, and it rolled off the edge onto a tile floor. The joint broke off but now I use the bowl (which is fine) for gravity bongs on occasion.

Man I dropped my SG tini my 1st sesh after reading this. I'mma blame that shit on you man. It didn't break but if it did I would be riding around the 215 searching for ya lol

I have broken a LW 6 arm downstem, on carpet, never buy one of those because the glass on the trees is like 1 mm thick. also the downstem that i was replacing when i bought the LW. Not a good couple weeks for me. Oh and i guess i went to ash a dry awhile ago and forgot to put my other hand up and just threw it onto the ground, epic fail

the only piece of glass i've ever fucked up was a while back when i was cleaning my old sg stemline i forgot to k-clip the plug in place, and i was shaking it around and the plug came out while i was shaking it, it ended up hitting the joint and leaving a tiny fleabite. luckliy the bite was soo small it wasn't too noticeable even though it was right on the joint....

broke a roor .us ashcatcher after one use about 2 years ago, and the stock joint on my SG slide broke when it slipped out of my hands while drying it off...Luckily nothing bad has happened with the expensive stuff...yet (knocks on wood)

lets see what my friends or I have broken.

3 china tubes, about 10 china slides, 8 downstems (no name local blown), ssfg inline (the joint just came off one day mid rip).
One day I opened my bedside drawer about to pull out my seattle hempfest logo piece and I noticed a fat crack in the base that leaks slightly. truthfully one of my saddest loses.
Oh and I lent one small china bub to a friend and he just kinda left it somewhere I guess which pissed me off alot.
And my brother was taking care of my 60x9mm us tubes and was taking the bus home after getting cockblocked and bitched out by his girlfriends parents and just sorta forgot the whole damn backpack with the tube in it on the bus. now THAT pissed me off hella. But hes my brother so what can one do I guess.

Ya.... I'm alot more careful now. Havn't broken anything in over a year and that streak is never going to end.

I've always been clumsy, though alot of this glass was not broken by me.

My current collection is about 20 slides, 20 ac's/downstems/concentrate pieces, 4 non broken tubes, a micro, and a bunch of bags that everything lives in until I can convert a wardrobe into a quake proof storage case. I would say to the point that I haven't broke any major glass (been a couple years), i probably had about 30% of my collection up to that point break. Too much smoking with friends/traveling with my glass.

I've broken a slide, a bubbler, a stemroller, and a bong all just china glass. I've learned my lesson and my pieces stay at home now lol

I have only broken one tube and it was a couple of years ago. The stem was stuck in my blue label illadelph beaker and I just pulled on it to remove it, rather than twisting. The lip of the stem broke off and there was nowhere to get a handle of the thing anymore. Thus I resorted to chiseling at the diffy and ended up breaking the female joint. Other than that, I have had a bunch of friends break pieces.

Ive broken numerous cheap chillums and bowls maybe even a downstem back in my high school noob days, but the first really bad accident I had was with my Toro 8-arm....the glass lid to my jar fell off my table right into the perc chamber and shattered all the percs leaving the exterior intact...wasn't able to look at it after that. =(
