Heady Glass MAKEOVER thread

HG?.... Makeover? Yes.


As many of you know, we recently moved locations. We went from a TINY 600sqft hole in the wall, to a 3500sqft Boro Fantasy Factory. Now that we've setup shop.. well, for most part,... were directing our attention to our building. The big plain white walls to be exact...




Yea... it kinda disappears in the snow, and sure as hell doesnt scream Heady Pieces & Live Glass Blowing. Well, we kinda had a feeling this would become an issue. So being the smart glass heads we are, we have been silently researching some of the BEST Graf artists in the nation. Lowe and behold.. we found the one we wanted, and right in our own backyard.

Today, they came in to discuss the final layout, and it was like something out of a movie...



Now dont get your panties in a bunch... we cant read it either. They were testing out what colors to run with, and drawing reversals. Here is a small hint as to the theme were going to run with..... Any guesses?


Starting in March, were going to be sporting a CRAAAAZY HUGE mural featuring... well, were not gonna give it away JUST yet. But as time goes, were going to be updating this with pictures of the new Mural, and coming this spring.... a contest where GD gets to design the art work on HG studios walls, and win glass while doing it.


Keep an eye on this thread.... the artists are going to be warming up by painting.... naked chicks, LIVE @ HG. Seriously.

either way the whole damn, well all the walls will deserve its own gallery advert right?! haha damn i think this is the best way to decorate. a MMA gym, tatoo parlors and a CD spot here in houston chose really personal graf work and its an amazing way to creat an individual personal passion statement about what you do. permitted graf work on that scale should be memorable to say the least. i look forward to the contest type design you mentioned!!

Hell yea you can. Were gonna have the dates and rough times these guys will be out there so you can come down and watch & take pics. Well also have a special sale going those days too

Well guys... its getting warmer here which means its ALMOST time to paint this bitch. Last night the group thats painting it came by to show us some more renderings of the characters going up.... HOLY SHIT THIS IS GONNA BE SIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!

This is still just rough drafts... but you get the idea of where their heading. The background is still yet to be determined, but trust us... this is gonna be one hell of a piece.

A lot of locals had mentioned wanting to come by and watch this go down. So.. when is it gonna happen? One week! Well, if the weathers nice. While their painting were gonna have EXCLUSIVE In-store sales for everyone swinging by. If your not in Colorado, dont sweat it. Well get it all documented.
